In BigTown we believe democracy and activism is as local as possible. Your councillors are your community advocates as well as the main decision-makers for how our town develops, but we also want you to think your participation doesn’t begin and end at the ballot box. If there’s something which is really getting your goat or you’ve got a great idea for how we could make something better, then one way to bring that to our attention - and to demonstrate wide community support for it - is with a petition.
We can’t guarantee we’ll act on every petition we receive, but we do promise to give it serious consideration.
